I would like to invite all my Customers and Friends, Old and New and especially Future Customers who still have never visited my shop to participate in the 2016 edition of my Grand Slam Customer Appreciation Tournament, This year’s tournament celebrates the beginning of my 31st fishing season here at Absecon Bay Sportsman Center and I hope you will help me start this year with a BANG.


Eligible Species:

This year there will be five species of fish eligible for Gift Certificate prizes.  They are as follows: Summer Flounder, Striped Bass, Blue fish, Weakfish and Black Drum.  For each species there will be Gift Certificate prizes for the three heaviest fish weighed in:  1st Place - $100, 2nd Place - $50, and 3rd place - $25.  Special prizes will be selected for the largest fish caught by our young anglers 12 years old and below.


Fishing Times and Boundaries:

Since this is a Friendly and Fun Tournament, there are no specific fishing times and the weigh-in scales will be open during all regular hours this weekend, which will be Saturday 6:00 am. to 8:00 pm. And Sunday 6 am. To 6 pm.   Fishing may start at 12:01 am.  Saturday May 21, (which is the legal Opening of the Summer flounder).  The final ending time will be 6:00 pm. Sunday May 22 when the scales will be closed.

Since I have Customers all over the State of New Jersey and many who come to fish from all over, the only boundaries will be how far you want to drive to show your support.

Registration:
